1. Purpose of the Portal. This Portal is provided by the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario (IPC) for regulated organizations to submit required statistical data in accordance with:
  2. Authorized Users. This Portal is intended solely for use by authorized representatives of regulated organizations that are required to submit annual statistics to the IPC. By accessing or using the Portal, users confirm that they are authorized to submit data on behalf of their organization.
  3. Accuracy of Submissions and Attestation. Users are responsible for ensuring that information submitted through the Portal is accurate, complete and represents the organization’s official submission. Each submission must be accompanied by an attestation confirming that the user is authorized to submit on behalf of their organization and that the data submitted is accurate and complete.
  4. System Use and Integrity. Users must access and use the Portal only for authorized purposes and in a manner that maintains the security and integrity of the system. Misuse incudes attempting to gain unauthorized access, introducing malware, or interfering with the normal operation of the Portal.
  5. Service Availability. While the IPC strives to ensure the Portal is available and reliable, temporary interruptions may occur. Regulated organizations remain responsible for meeting their reporting obligations regardless of the Portal’s availability. Alternative submission methods are available upon request.
  6. Changes to Terms. These Terms of Service may be updated from time to time, including as the Portal expands to support new functionalities. The most current version will be posted here, and continued use of the Portal constitutes acceptance of these terms.
